Silencers for GPZ 900R A7-A8 machines are still available from Kawasaki, BUT they are no longer supplied in a black chrome finish - they are supplied in a Matt Black finish.
For this reason these are not a stock item.
Original Kawasaki silencers for the GPZ 900R A1-A6 have been
unavailable now for many years. To make matters worse, those companies
that used to provide aftermarket silencers (Motad, Micron, Sito, Mivv,
etc) are, for a variety of reasons, no longer doing so.
Exhaust silencer availability is extremely poor and in virtually all cases owners are obliged to turn to the 2nd hand market for satisfaction.
The later A7-A8 exhausts will fit all models, but some adjustment to carburation must be anticipated.| Fitment | |
